Globetrotters Suite in Historic Richmond w Patio

Great accommodation in a fabulous location. We stayed for 4 weeks, and it had everything we needed for comfort. Location was very good. Easy walk into downtown through a park and along the river.

The apartment was clean with useable but vintage appliances. Location was central. The bed was comfortable. WIFI awas working well. If something needed to be fixed, management responded appropriately.

The noise level between apartments was extremely disruptive and invasive. I would not have rented this space if I had known that it was a lower level apartment in an old building in which footsteps, noise, crying babies, and conversations heard from 4 AM (at times) to 9:30 PM every day. There were multiple renters- screaming kids, dogs, people moving furniture, and multiple adults. Plus, because of multiple renters, the maids cleaning the apartment was constant. So, I think I would get a break from the noise only to have the cleaning crew arrive to give me another noise filled day on a weekly basis. There is no mention of noise or it being a lower apt. in the rental description on line. I was unable to leave without forfeiting the rest of my rent. When I complained I was told it was a historical building so what did I expect? I expect to be giving an accurate description of the building for the amount of money I paid. The ad did promote a back porch which was no great value or view.

I liked the quiet location and the quaintness that it offered. We would definitely stay again. 😊
