Na een korte, avontuurlijke bergrit bereik je een fantastisch mooie plek. Het uitzicht op de omringende groene bergen en het meer in de verte is prachtig. De kamer is heel stijlvol ingericht en van alle benodigdheden voorzien. De eigenares is heel behulpzaam en wil er alles voor doen om je verblijf volledig naar wens te maken. Wij raden dit huisje 100% aan!

Soms misten we nog wat concrete info over lekkere restaurants in de omgeving.

Marina was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Her attention to detail was incredible—she anticipated our needs before we even asked! If you’re looking for a truly authentic local experience, this is the perfect place. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! The aircon worked perfectly, a lifesaver against the heat outside, and the terrace was an ideal spot to relax. Marina had thought of everything, providing all the necessary amenities to make our stay effortless. Every morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast, and throughout the day, she surprised us with fresh fruit snacks straight from her garden—so tasty and thoughtful! But what really blew us away was her kindness when she offered to do our laundry. After traveling for 8 days, it was an absolute game-changer! Marina’s hospitality made us feel like family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience—I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Perfect in every way!

Only thing I would say is signage to the place could be improved. Just make sure when you get to the top of the hill, right before you go up to Garnet winery there is a parking lot - park there, and then there will be a hill up, a flat path, then a path with a small staircase - take the small stairs and walk through and you should be able to spot it.

Wir können uns nur den vorherigen Bewertungen anschließen, Old House Leković ist allemal einen Aufenthalt wert. Gastgeberin Marina ist eine sehr freundliche und herzliche Person, wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet und die Aussicht ist einmalig! Wer einen ruhigen entspannten Urlaub fernab vom Trubel verbringen möchte ist bei Marina genau richtig.:)

The guesthouse was beautifully renovated in a rustic style and the view from the terrace was breathtaking and relaxing! Marina really made us feel at home and made us both delicious breakfasts and dinners with ingredients from her garden! Even vegetarian meals were not a problem for her, she is a good cook and a lovely host!

The road to the guesthouse is a narrow mountain road which is sometimes exposed to a cliff, passing other cars was stressful. A minor improvement could be to add a sign on how to get to the guesthouse from the parking lot, because we were a bit lost and had to ask the neighbours for directions. Another small improvement would be to hang a dark curtain on the backdoor of the room because it was impossible to make the room dark enough to sleep.

This is a very special hidden gem! Highly recommend spending some time here to experience the Montenegrin countryside. The village is mostly abandoned and very quiet, except for a tiny winery. You're surrounded by gorgeous nature and stunning views of Lake Skadar. The house itself is very cosy and even has a cute faux fireplace, panini press, and stovetop. The host is very kind -- we had washed our baby's clothes and set them out to dry, and she noticed them and brought them into her home to dry them by her fireplace and folded them nicely for us. She will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need! Explore the little village, it's a special place. Feels like going back in time.

The drive up the mountain is only about 10 - 15 minutes from Virpazar, but its a very narrow windy road with no guardrails in many spots. It's a bit of a stressful drive, but was worth it.
