Area and location were just what we hoped and the cabin was beautiful and in great condition

The master bedroom mattress was hard. Back door did not lock.

The location was very quiet with a wonderful view. The home was very clean and nice. The home was thoughtfully decorated and felt very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sunset and wildlife.

We found the king mattress more firm than we prefer.

Hot Shot Hideaway was perfect, we wanted a house that was out of town a bit so we could enjoy the scenery and wildlife, and this place delivered all of that! The house was cozy and looked exactly as the pictures online (no surprises). We will be keeping this place on our list to go back to for sure... we highly recommend making this your next vacation spot. The management was so wonderful to work with... thank you again for opening up your home for people to enjoy and make it their home away from home!

We wish we could have stayed longer! The only thing for us was the bed was a little more firm than what we are used to, but we had an extra blanket with that we slept on that was just enough to make it a little softer. That will not keep us away.... we will stay here again!

Beautiful property. Everything is new. Great area for dogs to play and lots of wildlife in the area.

It was very remote and wildlife were visible daily with a beautiful view

The master bedroom mattress was like sleeping on a rock but my wife slept wonderfully , I don’t know why?

If you’re grossed out by having to sleep in other people’s slept in sheets this may not be the place for you. The sheets were dirty upon arrival and it was too late in evening to wash our young kids sheets after a full day of driving and exhaustion. We stayed up late to wash master bedding. Visibly dirty with sand, hair and other things present. Our kids slept in visibly dirty sheets. It was disturbing to say the least. Other cleanliness issues: - 2 of 3 rooms had slept in sheets on beds still - all towels in master bathroom were used. Note- Once I washed them, they came out perfectly clean. - dried urine on the master bathroom toilet in several different spots. - The cleaning crew did not refill the hand soap in the upper level bathroom. Didn’t leave any extra either. - white dog fur covering floor, stuck deep in every rug, on couch and pillows, deck and even on kitchen counter tops. - grease spill in oven which we didn’t know about until smoke came billowing out filling the cabin when we turned oven on the first time. Never used it again, because it was unusable due to the amount of grease spilled in the bottom. - damp and smelly dish towels with avacado on them that cleaners folded back up as “clean.” - dripping wet dishes upon arrival in cupboards - chicken left in grill outside - outside garbage not taken out from previous stay and overflowing Host says they did everything they could by sending cleaners out to change the one bedrooms sheets and vacuum only some of the dog hair. They refuse to compensate us for any troubles and remains strong in their stance that we were their “learning experience” and they will try better the next time but we still have to pay full price for a very poor stay from a cleanliness standpoint. I wouldnt recommend this site based on hours of cleaning we had to do. I felt like I left for vacation just to have to clean someone else’s home. It was gross! Beware, host seems to finds this level of cleanliness acceptable.

Beautifully decorated, very nice appliances, newly renovated, beautiful views of nature and wildlife, very secluded, nice snacks on arrival

Overall an excellent stay at a beautiful property! A few things which would have even enhanced our stay even more ……some laundry detergent for at least one wash, some coffee for the coffee maker, making sure the propane tank was full for the gas grill, dining table was a bit small only able to fit four people.

Loved everything about this house and surrounding area. The views are beautiful and the large deck and adirondack chairs were a perfect way to sit back and take it all in! The kitchen was well stocked with top-notch appliances. Everything worked as expected and we had no issues whatsoever with anything.

Not much at all, really. I think the only thing we missed was having a firepit because the evenings were perfectly and unseasonably cool for sitting around a fire.

Beds were very firm. A 2 inch foam topper would be a real plus

The house was nice and secluded! The appliances were all high-end as well as all the dishware and cookware! It was the perfect home away from home! We will definitely stay there again if we go back out that way.
