Room was super clean. The beach was perfect

I would’ve liked to sit in the yard outside the sliding doors, but you have a screen porch that doesn’t allow you access

This was a lovely place to stay in the Adirondacks. Long Lake is right outside the screened in porch. Awesome view. Very nice layout of room and bathroom. Everything was sparkling clean. I would love to go back. Fridge in room, microwave in separate building...no problem. Staff (family owned) were so helpful and pleasant. Don't pass this one up!!!!

The Sandy Point Motel is an older motel. Not everyone is comfortable with old fashioned accommodations, but we were just fine with them. Our room had very little floor space but the most wonderful view of the lake! It was too cold (for us) to rent one of their canoes and go out onto the lake. We may consider returning in the summer to do so. We were located close to hiking opportunities and made two trips to the Adirondak Museum. We found nice places to eat. Our brief interaction with our hosts was very pleasant.

Setting overlooking the lake was beautiful and the beach was nice.

Sandy Point Motel is family owned and operated. The owners are very friendly and accomodating in every way. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette which was well equipped and convenient for both cooking and eating. The layout of the room gave us plenty of space as well as privacy. Good heat on a crisp October day, and great hot water for showers. It was lovely to sit and look out at the lake, especially at sunset. We also rented the kayak/canoe - - price was very reasonable. We loved the relaxed atmostphere of this motel and will definitely stay again. The only thing that guests should be aware of is the fact that both cell service and Wifi are better or worse at different areas of the property. Then again, you don't go to the Adirondacks to spend the day on your device, right? We do highly recommend this motel, especially if you will be staying for several days.

The place was perfect. When others jacked up their rates for leaf peeping, David and Daniela did not. They made stay quite pleasurable

Property location was great and room was very clean. Check-in was a breeze. Room was smaller than expected and there was no air conditioning so it was rather warm. As long as A/C is working I’d be willing to stay there again.

Great clean place to stay! Beautiful view off the back patio! Friendly and helpful staff!
