The Lakes Rookley Holiday Park by Away Resorts

The lodge was beautiful.it overlooked the lake and was very peaceful setting

Rules of the swimming pools.the outdoor pool was only open for 2 days and you could only use it by booking a 1 hour slot and only 20 people can use it at a time. The indoor pool had the same restrictions but it was like a sauna and not at all comfortable so did not use the indoor pool

Had a very dirty sofa have pictures .... And the guy opposite was having work done all week we were at 32

The property was basic but came with everything you needed. Depending on which caravan or chalet you book depends if you get towels included. But property was clean everything worked and two toilets was great.

No fan available and had to buy towels. In the extreme heat would have been nice to be provided with a fan but luckily we had our own. Need to improve WiFi services as had no signal all week.

It was quiet and bed was comfortable

Requested a caravan that could be parked next to during a phone conversation but given one up steps and along a path, arrived in 30+° temperature to a caravan with all windows closed and curtains open, Cleanliness of caravan and pool was poor, outdoor pool wasn't open and it was 30+° outside, only a small indoor pool in a conservatory where heat was absolutely infernal, no complimentary tea and coffee and there is no on site shop, onsite bar and restaurant were ridiculously expensive £9 for 2 pepsi and £30 for 2 loaded fries. The location was average but no advantage over a coastal location

The location was great and facilities were good

The accommodation was sub standard. We hired 2 units advertised as the same standard one was amazing and one was very dated, old tiny fridge with tiny freezer box where as other one had full size freezer. The sofa was so uncomfortable it was not acceptable for the price

It’s clean and reasonable space for 4 persons.

They don’t have wifi included,contrary to the amenities they posted, and the reception is quite bad in there. I’m not sure with other networks,but mine is EE and I can’t go through data for internet. So, it’s not good for people who are working from home.

Location right in the heart of the island, so perfect base to explore from Easy to find, very friendly staff, good general level of cleaning

Lack of fan/ a/c inside the caravan during a heat wave Few small details that could do with updating like a cracking showerhead chrome in caravan and sealant that needs replacing

Very spacious and clean with good sized bedrooms

No coffee machine
