Trieste Mia Rooms

It was very clean and there were some useful stuff in the room like make up cleaner and napkins. It has a balcony and an air conditioner.

In the description, it says that the room has a private bathroom, but the bathroom isn’t directly connected to the room. There is a hallway between the room and the bathroom. You have to cross the hallway to get to the bathroom. The other guests are also using the same hallway. I think that should have been stated clearly in the description. And the walls are very thin. Even if somebody speaks with a normal tone, the other rooms can easily hear that.

In general everything was really nice! The room was clean and comfortable, same as bathroom. Nice balcony.

A little bit confusing coffee machine, which I didn't get how to use :( And there was just coffee, no tea/cocoa, milk, sugar, etc. Also, there is no big wardrobe in the room, so probably it is not suitable for longer stays.

Nothing at all

I had a wonderful sleep and this is already an indicator of comfort. The hostess is great, she does everything so that you can rest in the apartment. The bed is comfortable (although with my height - 195 cm - I was fine diagonally). The mattress is not soft and not hard - just what you need. The room is spacious. The air conditioner is very well located - it does not blow directly on you, so you can maintain a normal temperature in the room. The bed linen is pleasant to the touch (but judging by the electric discharges in the darkness - synthetic fabric). A large terrace with a view over the roofs of the city and the sea in the distance. The Internet works without problems. I watched the video. Everything in the bathroom is clean and renovated, there is enough toilet paper (albeit very thin). The roller shutters allow you to make a complete blackout at night. Communication with the hostess is constant. She is always ready to help. You can leave your luggage before check-in. Just do not make the mistake, like I did, of leaving items outside the luggage.

For the sake of fairness and for improvement, I will also note the shortcomings. The hostess should be more attentive, sometimes before doing something you can check with the guests, and not throw things away. The refrigerator is shared by all guests and a large container with water for guests takes up most of its space, but I was able to fit my breakfast in. In general, the corner for a coffee break near the toilet is not very pleasant. The toilet of my room is private, but is located opposite the room. You have to run through the corridor quickly in your underwear :) And when it gets really annoying at night... it's a little more difficult. There is only liquid soap in the bathroom: no shampoo, no shower gel. It's stuffy in the bathroom, even with the window open. The room is not very sound proof: you can hear what's happening in the corridor, in the next room and motorcycles on the street (although this is the 7th floor). Plus, you can also hear the elevator engine. But my earplugs saved me from all this - I slept wonderfully. There is a hole on the terrace from which hot air comes, which does not create comfort for an evening sitting. But if I came to Trieste again, I would still try to book the same apartment.
