"Great little lodging option in San Carlos"

Cute basic rooms, very sweet staff, close to where boats to whales leave from, shared outdoor kitchen.

Would be great if there was an easy to access refrigerator available, overall the town of San Carlos is best to minimize days in.

"Loved the area, the whale experience and would stay there again if and when I return."

Room was set up very well, plenty of hot water for a shower, very nice people taking care of the posada. There was some confusion about booking a boat for the tour to see the grey whales but our host made a call and took care of getting me on a tour with Friendly Whale Tours that morning and the experience was fantastic.

"Great place to stay for whale watching."

This location is quiet and close to the dock where the boats launch for whale watching. Parking is enlcosed at night for security. The room was clean and practical. I would stay again for sure.

I did not notice A/C, but we did not need it. The room temperature was perfect with the ceiling fan.

"Clean and practical place for a night or two when whale watching"

Super clean, comfy bed. Good towels. Enough toilet paper. Very friendly hosts.

Wifi is a Hotspot and barely worked in Room 3. Impossible to watch anything on a laptop or phone without constant interruptions. Only 1 TV channel.
