The Barn

We stayed at Suetts Barn to celebrate my 40th birthday and it honestly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The barn itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and set in the most amazing farm location surrounded by chickens and cows — such a peaceful and unique getaway. The windows perfectly capture the stunning views, which really added to the whole experience. It had everything we could have possibly wanted and more. We especially loved the outside patio space — spending evenings under the stars made the whole experience even more special. Inside, everything was so well thought out. All showers were stocked with toiletries, and the kitchen had every facility we needed, including a great coffee machine, dishwasher, tea and coffee, and even dishwasher tablets. We didn’t use the washing machine and tumble dryer, but it was great to have them available if needed. Sarah and Mike were incredible hosts from start to finish. Communication before our stay was excellent — they even checked whether we wanted single or double beds. As three couples, we requested three doubles, and everything was set up exactly as we asked. They also left us a lovely hamper with cake, biscuits, and drinks, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a milestone. It was also excellent value for money. I would absolutely recommend Suetts Barn and would love to stay again. Truly perfect!

There really wasn’t anything that took away from such an amazing stay. The only very minor things to mention are that the water pressure was a little low if more than one shower was being used at the same time — pretty standard and it didn’t impact our experience at all — and that dogs aren’t permitted at the house. Completely understandable, but our well-behaved dog would have absolutely loved the open space!

Place was stunning. So relaxing. Will definitely be back

Beautiful location and fantastic property for a family vacation, close enough to Portsmouth and Southampton.

The location was perfect. Peaceful and quiet. The barn was exceptional. Decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean throughout. The hosts were very friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone visiting this part of the country.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful barn and surroundings. The place was immaculate from top to bottom. A lovely welcome pack was left for us on arrival. The owners have literally thought of everything, even down to new toothbrushes, shower gels, shampoo & conditioner, body wash and lotions. Absolutely wonderful. I can’t thank them enough for our memorable stay 10/10 .
