Palm Villa Hostel

Very clean and comfortable

The location is just a walk away from everything downtown Ybor clubs and restaurants! Bus stops directly across the street! the property is clean and relaxing as well if you just want to hang on the porch in the variety of seating options or relax inside. Its Tampa's Historic Housing and beds are comfy. The management and staff are super helpful as well!

Responsive staff, great communication, shared tacos with me, very fast internet, comfy, rocking chairs. Great location walking distance to Ybor Historical district that was an eye opener, some nice cocktail bars nearby, and Downtown.

Improvements could include instructions on how to use coffee machine and where to find extra blankets. Checkout time a bit later would be better.

The hostel had everything I needed to stay in Tampa: bed, bathroom, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, oven, sink with material to assist in the cooking stuff. Moreover, Don, the owner, was very helpful in let my lugagge stay in the hostel all day long, before getting my bus at 10 pm. Finally, I was lucky to receive a bedroom just for me, despite its capacity being for two people.

Since it is a hostel and people should be colaborative, which not always happen like during my stay, the cleaning in the kitchen wasn't so good, with some unclenead dishes in the sink, and some missing silverware.
