Everything about the property, including the food next to the house, amazing!

Nice house it’s got everything you need for a short and long vacation stay. The Beach was excellent for swimming the views are beautiful the sunrise and sunset views are breathtaking. Staff men Yovanni was so helpful with anything we needed, what a nice guy. The owners of property were so attentive to our needs , incredible people.

Don’t leave anything of food in the kitchen area , there’s a pack of dogs in the area that gave us hard time every night they would knock off the trash bins and even broke some dishes. One night they ate our meat that we had prepared for next day on top of stove in a skillet covered and secure, they knocked to the floor and ate everything. I also used to put barricade in front of the small refrigerator so they wouldn’t open it. So be aware if you planning on cooking often in this place .

Giovani is a sweetheart. He was waiting for us to arrive, showed us the property and handed us the keys. I can't say enough good things about the location, if you're looking for quiet and tucked away from everything this place is perfect. No sounds but the ocean surf, it's lovely. And just to be clear the photos where taken after we stayed, the bed was made when we arrived and the kitchen was organized. Unfortunately…

When we sat down in the outside dining room, we had roaches and bugs crawling over us, but we figured it's outside by the ocean, at night so we retired to the upstairs (super cute, but much smaller than the photos) only to discover 3 more large roaches inside. We ended up leaving early the next morning after only one of 3 nights. The owner was nice enough to verbally change the reservation and only charge us for the one night, but then proceeded to report us to booking.com as no-shows. The kitchen is very sparsely equiped - enough to do the basic cooking, and is much smaller (but still cute) than it shows in the photos.

Our stay at Surf House Mizata was amazing! The hosts were easily reachable through email and replied promptly, Geovanni helped set us up with the keys and also supported us when there was a short water outage. I cannot say enough great things about Geovanni welcoming us and making us feel beyond comfortable and welcome to the area. He was so accommodating in answering all of our questions and showing us the area. The outdoor portion below was fantastic - but bring your bug spray! It's beautiful at night to relax and listen to the waves, the mini kitchen was all we needed for our stay. The outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off after a day in the sand. And there was a boogie board which gave me the best day of the trip! The upstairs was spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed and beautiful patio overlooking the ocean. Everything in Mizata is walking distance and very close by, and it was great to have the privacy the space afforded us. A very special place with incredible people! Would highly recommend.

Just bring your bug spray and you'll be fine. It's normal and will be like that anywhere in the area.

Oceanfront property in a amazing natural ambience. Ideal for 2 - 6 persons. Restaurant, horseback riding, and camping space nearby. Friendly staff, a/c in the rooms, showers, cooking stove, and a fridge full of cool drinks. Cheers!

This place is amazing. Private beach and everything you could possibly need and more.

Clean, cozy, comfy bed!

The refrigerator is too small if you plan to stay more than a week
