"Expensive place that is not exceptional !"

Overall nice property with pleasant staff. Food was good.

The hot water temperature in the room was very bad. Spent a lot of time asking them to Rectify and they were not able to. So , far a room that expensive, it was extremely disappointing that we could not get a good shower and on top of that we could not use the Hot tub in the room. This was a let Down.

This luxury resort is a real oasis of calm 15 minutes from the "ruins". Rooms are huge and luxurious. They serve an excellent (included) buffet dinner and breakfast , with plenty of western and vegetarian options. We liked the ground floor rooms with your own private garden attached. There is a big pool to relax by. They serve a nice "high tea" around 4pm.

My only reservation is that service was sometimes slow. They only have one barman , so it can take a while to get a drink , and one day at breakfast only 2 staff members were trying to cope with 50 or 60 guests. I've no idea why the access road is so very bumpy. .
