Great views from the property and very well equipped

Very central, lovely apartment overlooking the river. Very clean and well equipped. Highly recommend.

Faulty bedroom door handle couldn’t open from inside. Lighting on entry to the garden could be improved. Apparently the light is controlled by another cottage. We still had a fabulous time.

Stunning property in a fantastic location. The attention to detail in the house is wonderful. Very comfortable beds and cosy house with a very welcoming vibe.

We were fine with it but there are a lot of steps up to the front door so this might not be accessible for all.

Nothing. Worth noting though - the long stone staircase to the entrance door would be difficult for anyone with mobility challenges.

This was a stylish, generally comfortable apartment and with a wonderful view of the estuary.

Stylish, but in a number of ways not functional. Given we booked for five people, a small dining table and four chairs was completely unsatisfactory. There was insufficient cutlery and crockery, made worse by half the dinner plates being too large for the dishwasher. The three main bedrooms had no hanging space and in two of them not even a chair to leave clothes on. None had bedside tables or shelves to lay a phone or glass of water on. These were spacious rooms and so these deficiencies were I think the result of styling decisions. More practically, the door of the bedroom at the top of the stairs if closed could not be opened from the inside. No plug in the sinks of the toilet or en suite. The property description says three bathrooms with a bath, however there is one bathroom, one en suite shower room and a toilet.

We absolutely loved staying at the, Ferry Beach House. There was so much care in the property that we instantly felt at home, and wanted to keep it in as good a condition as we found it in. Fantastic location with a great view, each room well equipped with everything you could ever need, and really great value for money. Of all the places across UK and EU we have visited on this trip, the Ferry Beach House is the best!

We wanted to stay an additional night, but alas it wasn't available. That's not a problem with the house though - it is rightly in demand.

The location and views make this house extra good.

Nothing however it might be worth explaining on description that access to the house is via a rear outside quite high stair . Those less mobile or with young kids would find this a challenge especially with luggage. So would not recommend with pram / young age family but our teens loved it as did we. Gorgeous decor throughout .perfect location .

The interior is stunning. The view of the beach is amazing and kitchen is adorable.
