The house was beautiful, beds were super comfy and the location was perfect.

Disappointing, strange and depressing experience we stayed only one night, despite booking two. Despite advertising sea views, there are none, only views are bushes and other properties. Scott's Lodge appears to be the home of the late Scott and is a memorial to him, with photographs and stories related to him. His tablets, inhalers, creams are in the kitchen cupboards. Many used toiletries, sponges, toothbrush leads in bathroom. Large plants are dying, tatty ripped furniture. Front door only locks with dead bolt, Yale key does not work. Sorry I had to write such a negative review as others have been so positive, however this was our experience which I would not wish to repeat!

Highly recommend Scotts lodge

Spacious, excellent light in living room for reading. Facilities were really good. Close to town and shops short drive away. Kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable, felt like a home with character.

Bed was very soft, but I just prefer firmer mattress.
