House near to CastleCourt shopping

Was a decent stay for the price we paid. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Was very close to Commercial Court and other shops

Was a pretty sketchy area—as 3 young women, we didn’t feel very safe walking around at night so relied on Ubers. The check in/check out info was a bit outdated and confusing, mentioned a key while everything was electronic and there was no key. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything from other rooms. Again, got what we paid for and nothing more.

Great location for access to the city. Bathroom was clean. Generally the house was okay. It's value for money accommodation. Suitable for short stay - singles or couples. Any negative comments are made to help the owners improve their guests experience.

Dirty windows and slippery floor in bedroom. Given incorrect instructions of how to enter the property via welcome email. Bedroom doors lock automatically so if you haven't got the code and reading glasses with you, it's difficult to operate the digital lock. One poor man couldn't get back into his room after a bathroom visit in the night, so slept in the bath until I helped him the next morning to open his door.

No breakfast but a good surprise was a full sized fridge, kettle and microwave in the room.

Oh dear this turned out to be a well furnished room with 10 guests sharing one bathroom and worse one toilet. All kept clean and comfortable with good towels. The streets outside were full of broken glass and this is a rough neighbourhood although close to the city. The front door was unable to be locked! The hosts only sent out recorded messages and generic responses and never ever answered one question I had. When I called she was friendly but didn't even know which house I was in - I wasn't even sure if her and her son were in the country. It seemed they have numerous houses like this where they've rented the place and turned each room into a pinpad code entry with endless instructions to not break the rules. That door is all you have between you and a very rough area. Other equally lost travellers turned up and we helped each other. No one knew what to do about the front door and the host never came on site or sorted it out. I would be afraid for other travellers that you might not be able to get in when you've booked and it is certain all you will get is recorded messages.

A few niggles with initial access as no longer key entry, however host responded quickly.

I find it it hard to locate the light switch for the toilet
