House near to CastleCourt shopping

Very disappointed. Beds were disgusting. When we arrived the owner was fixing the bed in the room we were to stay in. I mentioned that the mattress was badly stained and asked him to change, he did but the one he replaced it with was just as bad.One of our friends wouldn't even stay they went to a nearby hotel. There was no where to get fresh water to fill the kettle unless you used the bathroom 😞. Fair enough it was a cheap place to stay, but was in need of a really good clean. So in we didn't like anything.

All said above 😞😞😞 No kitchen is a big let down. Blinds in bad state, we were in what was originally the living room so our window was facing onto the street. There was no privacy.

La habitación es muy completa (con frigorífico, microondas y tetera incluidas), de un buen tamaño y la cama muy cómoda. La ubicación de la casa también es bastante buena. Estuvimos muy cómodas.

En nuestro caso el baño estaba pegado a la habitación y los huéspedes de otras habitaciones se ducharon a altas horas de la noche, haciendo bastante ruido; aunque entiendo que es un problema que tuvimos nosotras en las fechas de nuestra estancia al coincidir con estos otros huéspedes. Sin embargo, tened en cuenta que si te toca la habitación pegada al baño probablemente escuchéis algún ruido.

I would not recommend this accommodation. The bedroom had visible mould on the wall directly above the bed and the room felt damp. This is a health concern, especially when you are sleeping in that environment. The bed sheets clearly had not been changed — there were crumbs and hairs on the bedding. The mattress was extremely old and you could feel the springs through it, making it very uncomfortable. As a result, I had to book a hotel at my own expense and did not receive a refund. The photos online do not accurately reflect the current condition of the room. I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision.

Considering the price, it's incredible value for money. If you need a private place to rest your head, this is it. Comfortable, and quiet (as long as residents are quiet). You're basically in the city centre.

In February, it would be nice if the heating worked a bit better. The house is well insulated enough, but the heating just wasn't particularly powerful. The bigger problem was the front door. The key was a bit dodgy for myself, but worked. Someone else's key didn't but I think they got it replaced. Staff weren't around and everything was done through codes. So if issues were to arise, I wouldn't know how to contact them.
