Isla Rose Cottage

Christmas decorations outside and inside, everything super clean, cozy electric fireplace, parking right in front of the entrance, shop nearby, awesome breakfast, Filip was very helpful and gave us better tips for our itinerary and his dogs were just the cherry on the top.

Beautiful room, stunning surroundings, comfy bed and living area. Brilliant communication, amazing 5star breakfast. Attention to detail was outstanding, everything you could possibly need is provided. Had a perfect relaxing evening in a gorgeous comfy room. Filip is so friendly and goes above and beyond in making sure we enjoyed our stay. Guinness and Dolly the dogs were beautiful, perfectly behaved and such a treat to get to cuddle. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back!

From start to finish we had a lovely time at Isla Rose. Filip is a lovely guy and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, he even bought my partner a present for his birthday. The accommodation was first class with lots of extras, such as fresh fruit and cold drinks in the fridge. We would highly recommend Isla Rose and hope we will be able to go back in the future.

Absolutely fantastic stay the room & seating area are immaculate and well presented and ideal for spending the night relaxing. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is an issue for them. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and what a selection and enjoyed having a chat with both gavin and filip in the morning. The cottage is in ideal location for getting into town literally 5min walk. This is somewhere I’m going to book again

This was our second stay at Isla Rose Cottage, as we enjoyed it so much the first time. Once again, the breakfast was exceptional, and Filip went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs. The location is ideal—an easy walk into town for dinner and a perfect base for local walks, longer hikes, and visits to Dundee. The room was spotless with impressive attention to detail. We highly recommend staying here.

Everything hosts were just so welcoming and helpful, lovely cottage, and amazing spead if a breakfastl will stay here again. I was so impressed with how good this place is.

Nothing to not like

It was above and beyond our expectations. Very clean and every little detail was covered. We received a warm welcome, The cottage was a perfect layout , and great care was taken to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Close to the town centre and great location for exploring the area . Lots of extra things like fresh cut flowers, fruit ,water and canned juice. The cottage was. decorated in traditional style yet modern, could not fault the service and breakfast was excellent all fresh with plenty choices . Sorry we couldn’t stay longer but definitely will another time ! 😊

Nothing too dislike loved our stay and hospitality was second to none .
