Jane's Guesthouse

Our time at Jane’s Guesthouse was just wonderful. We loved the beautiful beach views and how close everything was to the water, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home from the beginning. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable, and waking up to the ocean was a highlight of our trip. The guesthouse has such a warm, welcoming vibe, and the hospitality really stood out. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Saldanha!

The Staff was very accommodating of us. Me and my fiancé drove all the way from the Northern Cape for one day and one night to spend the days after Christmas with my parents in Saldanha seeing as we both work over festive. I asked whether it would be okay if we shared dinner at the Guesthouse with my parents and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. I've missed my parents so much and it was a long time since seeing them again. We had such a blessed and wonderful time. The room was absolutely beautiful as well as the view. We felt very safe as well. We will definitely be back as soon as we can. Thank you again Jane's Guesthouse.

Prefer cereal,porridge and more milk on table

The guesthouse is located right at the beach and although it looks like a popular spot for people to park and sit at the beach, it was still very quiet and pleasant. We were a big group, so could experience most of the rooms available. Some rooms have a little kitchenette, others just an area to make tea/coffee and a very small fridge. There are a few braai areas but no braai tongs and we only found 1 braai grid. So if you plan to braai, make sure to take everything you would need. This is also noted in the description, but we initially didnt think we would braai so much. The beds are really comfortable, and we enjoyed spending time in the communal area overlooking the sea.

We really enjoyed our stay, but there are a few things that just stood out for me to take note of. There are just a few maintenance issues that need some TLC. For example, our shower had a leak and would flood the floor a little and the shower sliding door kept coming off the rail. Some windows could not open and the big sliding windows in our room could not lock. Meaning anyone can just open it from outside. It was very safe, but we were still on edge leaving things in the room. Every room has cutlery and crockery, but some rooms had some items missing. The phone rings a lot and sometimes starts very early. But they do answer it quickly.

I didn't have time for breakfast,because i had to be somewhere very early in the morning..

Frühstück wurde den Tag vorher bestellt. In erster Line englischer Frühstück, wobei auf Wunsch auch Kontinental angeboten wird. Die Lage ist einfach super, direkt in Strandnähe. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.
