The Longwood Barn

It was warm & very comfortable, lovely decor. Comfortable bed.

The flushing of the toilet was a bit quirky & noisy.

Loved the ambiance of the accommodation, location is fab and very handy for short stay away from Wellington

The barn is in a beautiful setting and the perfect space for a comfortable staycation.

The first night we arrived we felt really cold in there. Even after we put on the heat pump and the fire it felt like the place didn't really retain the heat. Good thing there was an extra blanket on the bed.

Even better than the photos. Attention to detail was spot on. Everything was top quality. Bed was super comfortable. Decor was awesome. Had everything we needed. Fire was really lovely as well.

The toilet to be honest was horrible to use and so noisey. And the sink taps in the bathroom you can't put your hands under cause it's so close to the sink wall.

We really liked the feel and rustic look of the place.very laxing with fire going.will be recommending this place to my friends

More towels if you are staying longer than 1 night.

Comfortable beds, however the linen did not smell fresh. Lovely location

The property needed a good clean. The sofa was covered in stains and smelt dusty which aggravated my asthma to the extent I couldn't sit on it. We went to use the oven on the first night to find it was disgustingly dirty. The fridge wasn't too bad but it obviously hadn't been thoroughly cleaned as there was milk residue and a bottle top also left over food in the ice box. Around the taps in the bathroom sink was mm of old dirt the same in the plug hole, my wife spent the first night cleaning. There was No plug which made it difficult to shave. The toilet flush was very temperamental and the bathroom tap ran continuously. 3 of the 5 chairs in the dining area were broken and dangerous to use as was the chair around the pool. We washed the towels before use as one had a dirty brown mark on. The pool was very cold and dirty. The layout of the bedrooms gave no privacy as you had to walk through one to get to the other. We looked for somewhere else to stay but due to several events in the area everywhere was booked up.
