Mandala Home Stay

Kiki was welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. The bed was large and bedding was higher quality than most other home stays. Great, walkable location.

Close to yoga barn. Walking distance to Ubud centre. Staff were nice. Plenty of drinking water. Balcony. Generally an all round pleasant stay. Good value.

Bed was harder than we usually sleep on but if you're into that kind of thing. We had to ask for a top sheet as we don't like sleeping with air conditioning. There was sheet on the mattress just not one under the doona. They had spare doona covers they gave us, so we could sleep with that. No ceiling fan

The room has everything you need but it smells. Also, wardrobe was way too dated. Overall, couldn’t feel relaxed in the room.

Great location 3 minutes walk from yoga barn. Nice to live in a family compound for a change. Beautiful top floor room with 4 poster bed, balcony and separate kitchen and bathroom

This place is perfect and it’s clear that Kiki takes pride in ensuring that you have the most comfortable stay. Honestly 10/10. I love this place and wish I was able to stay longer.

The rooms are located in a lush, green garden with coconut trees, squirrels and an overall really calm ambiance. Whilst the street outside is busy, the area of the hotel is nice and quiet. I stayed in a room without a balcony, but the manager Kiki showed me a room with balcony which had a great view over the family djungel. My room was clean, free of any smell and had a nice bathroom. I had everything I needed. There’s also a cute kitchen where you can cook if you like. The location is only three minutes walk to the Yoga Barn, an amazing place in Ubud that offers many classes and workshops. The hotel is therefore an excellent place for yogis to stay, but also for anyone looking for a genuine, family owned and beautiful place to stay. The communication with the hotel manager was faultless, always with quick answers. I had an amazing conversation with Kiki upon checkout, and she is just such a sweetheart and told me the story of the family hotel and the surroundings. I left Mandala Homestay with a rested body, fueled soul and abundant heart. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Ubud✨
