Best View Homestay

I had such a wonderful stay here. Originally I planned to stay for only two days, but I ended up staying for a whole week because I loved it so much. Li and her family are incredibly kind and welcoming people. They made me feel comfortable from the very first moment. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and it really feels like a home rather than just a place to stay. Li is also an amazing cook- the food she prepares is absolutely delicious. She is always ready to help with anything you need, whether it’s advice about the area, organizing things, or simply making sure you are comfortable. I’m very happy that I chose this homestay, and it became a special part of my trip. If I ever come back to Sapa, I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

La disponibilité de notre hôte et le lieu, Li fait absolument tout pour faciliter votre séjour, elle organise tout pour vous, les repas sont copieux et bons.

La distance avec la route mais Li se charge de vos bagages donc cela n’en est plus un.

Ms. Li is an incredible host! She will make you feel welcomed and ready to explore Ta Van and it’s nature. I can only recommend the place, amazing views and memories!!

Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre exceptionnelle avec vue sur les rizières. L’espace était très calme, extrêmement confortable et d’une propreté irréprochable. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement. De plus, notre hôte, Li, a été incroyablement accueillante, attentionnée et nous a préparé un repas délicieux. Elle a répondu à toutes nos questions et nous a même emmenés faire une randonnée dans les rizières. Une expérience vraiment exceptionnelle, nous le conseillons sans hésitation.

The rooms are really good quality, well built and the bedroom is well sealed from the elements, which is important in the mountains. The bathroom is more ventilated for obvious reasons but its not a problem. There are lots of nice touches like lap shades and lanterns. You are welcomed by the family (Li and her mum May) who seem happy you are there. They have a fridge with drinks in for purchase and they do meals - the food is good quality and reasonably priced (we didn't have breakfast though so can't comment) and it's enjoyable sitting on the families terrace being given sugarcane to chew on and Happy water. There's no kettle for guests to use but you can get hot water from Li easily. It's a steep climb up, so consider your luggage, but it's so worth it, you are in a little valley with only local houses but can still see the bigger valley and you are likely to walk past several water buffalos. Guided treks take the same path which shows its a good one and the terraces are very picturesque.

It's not clear how to get to the property, I had to ask for directions as this was not communicated beforehand and there are no signs. It was during lunar new year so they were busy, so probably a one off.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit hier. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft, ruhig und mitten in der Natur gelegen, ein Ort zum Ankommen und Durchatmen. Mit Lee waren wir auf einem Trekking durchs Dorf unterwegs und konnten viel über das Leben und die Kultur vor Ort lernen. Das gemeinsame Abendessen war ein echtes Highlight: Zusammen haben wir unter anderem Frühlingsrollen zubereitet. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Eine unvergessliche Zeit mit herzlichen, liebevollen Menschen – und mit Lee als engagierte, aufmerksame und warmherzige Gastgeberin.

The room was nice and the location was stunning- around a 15 minute walk from the road but very scenic. Li was so lovely and helpful and even invited us to new year celebrations and dinner with her family. We also did the trekking tour with her and she was a very informative tour guide. She also offers breakfast and dinner which is delicious and reasonably priced for very generous portions. An amazing place to stay!
