Sagres Sunny Room with private bathroom 300m from the beach

Good value for money. Close to where we wanted to be. Clean.

No hot water :( No bath mat. There was a kettle but only one teabag.

The bed was comfortable, decent location away from the crowds and bars.

1- very dirty cups, you run your finger in them and all you see is dirt, Cleary she just rinses them. 2 - takes forever to get hot water, with none from the sink. 3 - watered down hand soap to the point it is just water 4- shower leaks badly and creates a big puddle which stays, so you end up getting your feet wet each time you enter the bathroom. 5 - no bath mat to absorb the water or keep your feet dry 6 - does not wash the floors, only a quick sweep, place is dirty, your feet will be filthy especially as they are wet. 7 - very loud in the evening with the doors being slammed. 8 - have fun locking and unlocking the doors, can be frustrating 9 - host took 26hrs to respond to my initial emails, so by the time she did, information was irrelevant and useless. 10 - patio door, if closed while you are out there, locks, you cannot get back in at all, so be aware to never fully close that door. Host does the bare minimum I order to post this on booking, way overpriced and you are better off looking elsewhere.

Bed was too hard and the doors were a bit hard to open

Great location, super balcony, and a sea view. The owner was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The use of the fridge was great. Lovely large room, a very comfortable double bed. Ten minutes walk from the beach, two minutes to the nearest restaurants and supermarket/ATM.

The shower was very unpredictable, boiling hot or freezing cold. There was not much toilet paper, so we bought our own as we couldn't locate the owner. We were only given large towels, no small hand towels. We'd have preferred a kettle to a coffee machine. Only 1 light was working in the bathroom, which didn't bother us.

Large room with ensuite and comfortable bed. Also had it's own balcony. Nice friendly owner.
