"Loved Pear Tree cottage location and the Lake District."

Location in Old Bowness was just right, we could walk to shops, lakeside, buses & fells.

Not much, even the sun shone for 2 weeks.

"Excellent location, wifi, parking and good value - ideal base for exploring the Windermere area."

The location is in the heart of Bowness and ideal for exploring Windermere and the surrounding area. Very close to good pubs & restaurants and a Supermarket. The wiki connection was excellent. A real bonus was the dedicated parking space - rare for properties in such a central location.

The sink/toilet space was a little small, but this was compensated by a large walk-in shower. There's really not too much to fault given the central location, parking , good wifi and relatively low cost. The house is shaded and a little gloomy, but again, this is not a problem as it's not a location where you should be spending a lot of time indoors!

For us a great location and the car parking was great as it came with the booking as parking is difficult in the area. Bathroom shower was great

Soft furnishings, curtains and lampshades need a bit of an updating and the mattresses are softer than we are used to. Air fresheners would be a good addition.

"Fantastic location and the house was superb!"

Great surrounding and location of the Cottage. The house was very comfortable and ideal for our stay. If it is available in the future for our next stay, we will surely try to book again! Amenities, internet, cleanliness and all instruction provided were perfect. Great stay!

"Superb"

Brilliant location. The fact that parking for one car was available at the side of the cottage is a real bonus. The cottage is small but homely. It had what we needed.

There were only 2 of us - adults. I couldn't see 4 adults staying there. Maybe 2 adults and up to 2 children.

Perfect location, central location but tucked away on a very quiet street. Clean, warm and comfortable, had everything we needed. Great to have a private parking spot next to the property.
