We had an exceptional stay at the Giraffe house in Ntabamoya Private Game Reserve in the Drakensberg — it was everything we hoped for. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by nature, peace, and incredible views. The property is beautifully tucked away, offering privacy and beautiful scenery. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was spotting the giraffes and zebras roaming freely — right from our doorstep! It felt like a hidden safari gem. Inside, the home was immaculate — clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, the fireplace was a lovely bonus for the chilly evenings, and the kitchen had all the essentials and more for self-catering. it has a lovely patio area where we could soak in the surroundings. Our host Rosemary was fantastic — friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in nature or a base to explore the Drakensberg, the Giraffe house is a perfect choice.

Absolutely everything - I cannot fault anything at the property. The kitchen had everything a lady needs when she’s in the kitchen. The owner/host clearly loves what she does and it shows through the property. The pics show how the animals come right outside the house. You’re also able to take walks in the estate to see all the animals.

We utterly enjoyed our stay at this Giraffe House. The scenery, nature, and surroundings were brilliant, and the host was very accommodating. The house had all the necessary equipment and utensils to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
