Castle Pond House

Great location, very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Downstairs toilet was a bonus as upstair there was an en-suite and a separate bathroom. Clear, easy instructions to access the property. Host was helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable, ensuring we had everything we needed and giving ideas of places to visit.

The apartment was lovely and clean and nicely kept. The parking was definitely a bonus There is plenty of crockery, etc, but you need to be very tall to reach the top shelves 😀

The dishwasher obviously hadn't been cleaned for a very long time. The smell was horrendous! There were roadworks happening nearby, and a JCB, a canteen, and other materials were parked right outside the apartment and obscured a lovely view. Whilst the owner obviously had no control over the situation, a heads-up would have been nice. One of the reasons for choosing Castle Pond House was the view. Very disappointing
