"Probably nice if it's not raining"

Beautiful log cabin next to the water with a terrace. Lasagne and broccoli was nice.

Besides the owners, that were not on-site, nobody seemed to have our names for check in. The guy who checked us in went through a list of names and none were ours. When we asked what time we could expect dinner, we were answered with a question " Did you arrange dinner?" We did confirm this via a booking.com message. Dinner was arranged then for 18h00, but arrived at 18h45. No cell phone or wifi reception so there was no way to communicate with the staff besides driving to their living quarters and hoot to get somebody's attention. There are no curtains/blinds anywhere in the cottage. But there is an airfryer. When we left we had to take one of the gates off its rails to be able to open it. Maybe our experience would have been different if it was a sunny day,

Cottage very clean & well equipped. Comfortable beds. Quiet surroundings.

Road to lodge during rain was very difficult to travel on.

The tranquility of the place, it really felt homely. Their breakfast was not what we expected, it was so good it made us feel so welcome. Alex and Kate were so friendly and made us feel at home. The dogs were friendly and so adorable. Would love to come back again!

The fact that we had to do our own beds. Maybe they could include that service, but we did not mind at all.

Picturesque scenery.

The road to the property is in an extremely bad condition. I would not have been able to reach the property if I didn’t have a 4x4.

Nice modern log cabin, right on the river. Fantastic views. Well equipped kitchen. Alex was welcoming and professional for check-in. Would consider staying longer next time to fully experience all Goshen has to offer.

Roads were in bad condition due to heavy rains. This was however not Goshen's fault at all.
