The apartment was lovely, but I was quite disappointed with one of the bedrooms which are situated on the ground floor. It lacked privacy, with no curtains or blinds, which made it unsettling, especially at night, knowing that anyone could easily see inside. Additionally, the bright sunlight would wake me up early in the morning, which was frustrating due to the absence of any window coverings. The host really should have had this sorted in advance.

"Lovely property ideal for our one night stay, but would be great for tourist/golfing groups"

Communication from the host was excellent. The property was an emergency last minute booking following another host cancelling last minute - the reaction could not have been better. The tea/coffee/milk and Tunnocks Tea Cakes were a welcome touch.

It would be wrong to be picky as we had created a problem that the owners resolved. It would have been better to have mirrors in the bedrooms ... There were no dishtowels and some kitchen roll and clingfilm would have been helpful, as would some shampoo for the showers - we suspect however that these were missing as we were so last minute
