Seaside Chapel Escape Character Home Near Beach Sleep 5

We loved the place due its character and quirkiness. It’s in a perfect location for all the local facilities. We really enjoyed our stay here, it had everything we needed.

Interesting property which the host has obviously put thought into making it welcoming.

There were some maintenance issues. The fridge was not working. The oven contained the remnants of a previous visitor's fish dinner - very smelly. Parking is a real issue at this property We were lucky enough to be able to park overnight outside after we arrived, but in the morning had to move the car up the road and buy a parking voucher. But this only allowed parking up to 4pm. Information on where to park would be very useful.

Loved the quirky design and funky furniture!

Didn’t like the bathroom, could do with a bit of TLC, rotten bathroom door and whole room gets soaking wet when one person showers. It also had a damp smell. The location, the outside of the property could do with a clean up as first impressions matter, especially after a long travel day. The boiler made a very odd noise every 30 mins, sounded like a table being dragged across the floor, not ideal when you’re in an old chapel.

Unique house, very quiet at night, comfortable beds. Warm and cosy.

Said there would be cleaning products & toiletries in the description, but there wasn't any, had to buy wahing up liquid & sponge. Boiler made a vibration sound every few minutes all the time. The shower was warm & powerful, but needs to be closed off with a screen/shower curtain as it goes everywhere, not really designed to be a wet room, as the bottom of the door & frame is beginning to rot.

Fab little 'cottage' located close the town and within minutes walk of the beach, railway and bus stations. It's a converted chapel, smartly furnished and with all the accessories and appliances you are ever likely to need for your stay. Always on my checklist the accommodation was clean and well presented, the shower was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the area as expected, we even had a park to walk the dog first and last thing!.... oh and just over the road from a cracking local pub !

Nothing for the price, the accommodation far exceeded our expectations!

Lovely property. Had everything we needed for a weeks stay, well equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds. The property was nice and clean. Great location, 5 minutes to pier/seafront and to shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Upon arrival at the property, we had not received a message with check-in instructions, but this was resolved with a phone call to hosts, we then recieved the message with instructions an hour after we had already checked in.

Spaciousness loverly decor very nice looking chapel obviously well looked after by the operators. Right in town close for food and everything else. Had very good nights sleep surprisingly quiet
