The Vicarage Barn

Full of character and very comfortable. Adorable cat that came to visit often and very friendly.

Well equipped but a bit eclectic in style

2nd toilet would have been handy

It was different and there is a spa sand there is a pool for summer

Drafty in the middle of winter needs a snake at the main door Could do with some mats on there floor very cold stone Shower head needs an up grade For the amount we paid I would have assumed a full cooked breakfast was included but alas it was not But out host was lovely.

My kids and I just wanted a change of scene, and to visit Motunau beach. The property was very beautiful, the whole converted barn being ours for the 2 days. Full of old curiosities-record player-with records (my 13 year old was enchanted), My 11year old facinated with the old weaponry😂 It was like a museum! The indoor spa was wonderful, and the outdoor pool was great. It’s a very unique building, and was very fun for the kids -and for me- to stay at. A large private lawn had my kids doing time trials, and races, after their swim. Wonderful to have them so active and away from devices. Like being transported back-to a better time.

Property was a pleasure to stay at, the hosts very welcoming. The main bed was firm-and didnt suit me-but others wouldn’t have a problem with it I imagine.
