Cozy Retreat Near Heathrow Airport

Location was close to the airport

It was very dirty , things were falling off the walls, it smelt of smoke, bug were crawling around and the host did not respond to any messages sent but instead only had an automatic system repeatedly ignoring what I asked and giving instructions.

Cute 1 bed apartment/flat with a separate albeit very small dining room/office. Has a washer and dryer and an airing rack. WiFi was good as were instructions to get in. Really nice and quiet neighborhood.

It had what I can only describe as “building site chic”. Peeling paint, heaters pulled off the wall, empty curtain rails, builders upstairs all day, no toilet/loo roll and no hot water for most of my stay. The plug game in the kitchen was ridiculous and many sockets don’t work. The shower height could not be adjusted. The host/manager did not provide contact details nor respond to booking.com messages in four days.

The bathroom facilities are a little dated .

Good clean bedding. Clean fridge. Good space for a short time. Quiet location. Easy to access. Good parking

Missing fire alarms. Cracking plug sockets in the bedroom. Left razors and mess in the mirrored cabinet in the bathroom. A bit dirty. Electric flash when plugging things into extension lead.
