GB· it is a traditional, vintage village house ("casa di paese") typical of central and southern Italy. Very representative of San Vito Romano which is also a typical village. The house is not luxury; however it is a beautiful experience. It features what Italians call "doppia esposizione" equivelant to "through terraced". San Vito is at 650m above sea level and the breeze in the evening crosses the house if you leave the windows open on both sides. You can literally cool off after a hot day. On the front there is a beautiful and quiet square with the curch and the castle and on the back you see some far away hills with a few villages. Really a pleasant experience. Ideal for a couple. The host is very friendly and polite.
The toilet flushing is noisy and sometimes water keeps flowing. So you have to push the jammed button again. A 1 hour DIY repair that is a pity not to make.
RSEverything was fine (accommodation, comfort, location...). We enjoyed walking in the fairytale village. The owner was very kind and ready to help. All recommendations for choosing this accommodation.
