Very well equipped kitchen and the fire pit was good. Marshmallows provided. Great outdoor space, BBQ and furniture. Plenty of hot water. Key safe entry worked well as the owners were away. Coffee plunger provided.

Mosquitoes hit at dusk so needed to close up room and spray inside. No screen on the door so couldn’t benefit from fresh air after dark. No reading lights or bedside tables. Owners were away so not able to get a tax invoice to use to claim against Salary Sacrificing. Excited that there was a coffee plunger but the coffee provided had no flavour or smell.

Absolutely enjoyed our 2 night stay at Waikawa Beach Pod. The Pod is beautifully set up with all the amenities you require. We were generously welcomed with home baking and a bottle of wine. Set in tranquil country surroundings you can enjoy the indoor/outdoor flow and the beach close by. The beach is excellent. Richard and Christine our hosts are a lovely, welcoming couple. Loki their dog was also adorable. If you are looking for a space to unwind, relax, to breathe in the peacefulness we fully recommend the Pod. This gem is not for party-goers.
