Sand Delight Camp

The services are limited due to is a camp in the dessert. Anyhow no complains about the ammount of food, water, tea, etc. Excellent experience if you want to be in the dessert, watch and touch camels, feed them, etc. The guide Qusay really loves his job and always try tourists to have an excellent time. Full recommended the 4 hours dessert tour were you can do a lot of activities all in one.

We spent a night in there, and it was great. The sunset at the top of the dunes, the delicious dinner, the fire in the dark of the night and the chats with the friendly owner, really really kind to answer to all my questions about the Omani culture. Finally a big breakfast and a ride with a camel.

Staff is really helpful and kind. Good conversations with owner and son. Nice bonfire at night. Food was really good. I was alone in the camp and was afraid of the variety and quality... but nothing bad. Dinner was quantious and varied. Breakfast a little bit less options but still more than enough and big quantities too. You will not be hungry. Rooms are wide and clean with bathroom attached (like camping)

I have nothing especial against the place. Maybe just 2 buts. Camp is a bit close to the town, as commented by others, so it's true that some lights might affect the visibility. Good sunset, not that good sunrise. Second one is a general one, not only for this camp but in general for all of them. I think prices in general are too high for what it is. So in general you pay for the experience rather than the place itself. (but as said, issue is generalized in all camps). So for the general price, this one was quite a good option.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed exceptional hospitality . Thank you very much for this beautiful experience in your desert. Definitely book sunset tour with the 4WD, a highlight! Also the camel riding in the early morning is recommended.

The food was unbelievably good, even prepared at our request. The staff were genuine, friendly and incredibly helpful. We got stuck in the sand and they rescued us! Could not recommend this camp enough for your stay in the desert.

The dinner was exceptional, great food in the desert beside the campfire. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our guide was very informative and fun, we had a great time dune bashing and seeing the sunset. There were lots of activities on offer.
