I loved the location and the bed was super comfortable

I didnt like that it was not a king suite, it was more like a standard room. The TV was about a 9" flat screen, the shower curtain is short so the floor will get wet, had to bring a blanket because the one they have on the bed was a warm material, but thin, and they dont have no coffee maker or microwave in the room. They have them up front but it's locked and dont see anybody. Looks nothing like the pictures, they said they're under new management and renovations

I loved the location. Rooms were very clean. The Staff up front was AMAZING!

only real thing i didn’t like was that the front desk wasn’t open at the time we wanted to check out. We was leaving at 8 am and it was still not open.

Just bc I was away from homes

I did not like that when I booked on here it didn’t say anything about the pool being closed which ruined my whole trip I asked for towels and said they would bring them to me and never did so had to use dirty towels

It was walking distance to everything I needed.

The pool was out of service for maintenance

The only thing I liked about the property was the location. It was right across from the beach other than that it was a horrible stay.

I didn’t like that the new manager that calls himself “G”. He’s a very hungry person and he’s a snake. He evicted me the same day I paid a for a full week stay for no reason and he kept some of my property and wouldnt give it back. I got in touch with law enforcement and they said I’d have to go to court for my stuff. I recommend NOONE go to banana peel lodge because the manager makes it feel like a prison. Constantly knocking on the guests doors throughout the day AND night wanting to hang out and smoke weed with him. I eventually told him stop knocking on my door one day and he didn’t like that too much. And he also knocked on your door and wakes everyone up in the morning and cusses them out because he gets in trouble with his boss so he takes it out on the long-term stays.

Its comically gross and dirty and the rooms look like they were renovated by 8 year olds with play tools. But its seriously all part of the charm. Where else on the beach can you be in a 2 second walking distance to the pool and park your Harley literally at the front door of your room. This place is so great, i will keep coming back, despite the sand covered floors and shower curtains that are so short they dont matter..lol

A lot, but its trivial compared to the great location, and price.
