A note to foreigners like me: the only issue I had was at checkout because the hotel has to call military security before I can leave with a taxi (they are obliged to do so) so I had to wait almost an hour before I could leave and nearly missed the bus at the terminal which I had to catch. So please do the checkout way in advance in order to avoid potential troubles

AUI really loved staying in this hotel. The room was really spacious, comfortable, and clean. Definitely the nicest place I’ve stayed in Pakistan so far! The staff were very helpful and professional. Food was also great - both the breakfast and also the room service. Great location too, very easy to get around. Wifi, hot water, and AC all worked really well, and I’m guessing they have a backup generator because the power never went out for more than 30 seconds or so. Thanks so much for everything and I will definitely stay here again if I return to Peshawar in the future!
The only negative thing was not actually the fault of the hotel and more just a challenge of traveling in the area for foreigners. The hotel staff are required to inform the local police when you want to go out who seem to want to escort you everywhere. After a bit of discussion each time, I was eventually allowed to leave without the (unnecessary) security escort as I was going with a local guy, but just something to be aware of for other foreign travelers. It’s free though if you do go with the security - I just didn’t feel it was necessary. Again, this is not the hotel’s fault at all but just wanted to mention it as info about travel in the area is a bit limited online.
