Ajuda Palace Inn Lisbon Apartments

The apartments are in a lovely historic building that is completely renovated on the inside. Our apartment was small but very well thought out will all amenities mentioned. Very bright and airy and with lovely views. Spotless! Response to questions very quick.

The stairs are narrow and steep (to be expected in an old building), for elderly or disabled people it should be advised to request an apartment on the ground floor.

The property was across the road from the Ajuda Palace, and the view from the apartment of the Tagus River and the attractions in Belem was amazing. The property was conveniently located on several bus and tram routes. The dishes and eating utensils were of very good quality. The yard was nice with a pool and fruit trees.

There were no staff on site, and they were slow to respond to messages. Arriving after dark, I didn't know what to expect. The check-in instructions were not clear enough to tell me which door to use. The digital code and keypad didn't work several times during my stay. The apartment was too small for a family of 4 with teens, although I was led to believe it would be adequate. It is really acceptable for two adults. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Some of the bath linens were stained. Only one pot and frying pan were provided, and the pot was too small to cook a meal for more than two people. There wasn't a pan to use in the oven. The building entrance is very small, and the indoor rug wasn't taped down and got stuck under the door one day. As a result, the door was jammed, and I could not open it from the outside. Fortunately, a family member was able to open it from the inside. I had to request an iron and ironing board, which should have already been in the apartment. I was given a tiny sleeve ironing board to iron our clothes. This, of course, is not adequate for ironing regular clothing. There is construction and fields of weeds next to and across from the inn.

Beautiful area The Palace was a great part of our trip and staying right across from it was convenient, and a very easy landmark to help us settle into the lay of the land. Nice and quiet compared to the downtown, which was flooded with tourists. We ended up on the top floor - 3rd "floor" in Europe (4th in USA English haha) The building was modernized, but still felt like staying in a historical residence. Especially with the Ajuda palace right outside. Felt like we were staying AT the palace - and heck - we kinda were. Thanks to the staff and owners of this lovely building.

Si vas en carro es una estancia perfecta con parking muy fácil.

Revisa el tema de escalas, no tiene ascensor. Me tocó último piso muy cómodo pero la subida con maletas para la edad no es tan fácil

Everything is new in the flat. It is very nice and quiet neighbourhood.

Check-in and Checkout were not entirely smooth. The view is indeed including the river, but also a nearby construction/disposal site and parking lot.

Wonderful location, quiet (except for one late night loud arrival), beautiful views and walkable to everywhere near Belem. a private parking onsite was a huge bonus. They literally thought of every amenity including the coffee pods for espresso machine.

We may have misunderstood something but there was nowhere to dry hand-washed clothes. They did offer laundry service off-sight.
