"Beautiful stay at Goody Bridge Barn"

Beautiful stay at Goody Bridge Barn! Ideal location just up the road a short walk from Grasmere, very peaceful. Beautiful cottage and very comfortable beds. Gorgeous views of the fells from the patio. Great it is dog friendly. Perfect base for hiking and trail running! Of course a trip to Apple Pie Bakery is a must

"Bedding needs a change and deep clean"

The farmhouse was comfortable and in a great location. Unfortunately upon arrival there was an infestation of flies particularly in the kitchen. We bought fly killer but they kept returning, leading us to the conclusion that perhaps eggs are laid somewhere. When we stripped the beds on departure, there were old blood stains on one of the pillow protectors in the master bedroom. There were a number of pillows without protectors and stains on the duvets. I have photos.Cobwebs were in all bedrooms. Rather disappointing given the price paid for the accommodation. I would welcome a response
