I liked the place and activity co-ordinator.

The price for doing laundry was a bit too much.

Good place.. nice location.. the hostel was packed but guess not so social ppl stay here

I stayed in the private room with bathroom. This was well furnished and large. The hot water worked. You must turn on the heater 15 minutes before a shower. Aircon and fan worked. There is a washing machine. It costs Rs150 to use. They give you detergent. There's a cafe with food. I didn't use it. There are many excellent places to eat nearby. I ate at Marc's Cafe, Conscious Cafe, Tanto pizza, and the Auroville Bakery. There is a common room and social events are organised. Both allow you to meet other guests. You can work in the cafe or separate outdoor workspace area on the first floor. There is a WhatsApp group to share ideas, organise events, and invite others. Auroville is about 10 minutes drive away.

Power is unreliable. There were regular, brief, power cuts. These switched off the Wi-Fi. The hostel has no independent generator to kick in when the power cuts occur. The Wi-Fi is unreliable. Independent of the power cuts, the Wi-Fi went down several times, sometimes for over an hour despite being reported to their IT people. Someone complained on the WhatsApp group because she was trying to work. I would not stay here if I need to work and internet access was required. When I arrived, I was told no loud noise after about 1130. However, one of the staff (or friend of staff) organised events late into the night. On one evening there was loud noise until 1am.

Everything was amazing including the crowd and overall vibe.
