Staff: The staff was extremely nice and they sent me all relevant information by whatsapp before my arrival, so I wouldn’t run into any surprises. They also gave me advice on airport transportation. The hotel has a restaurant, where as a vegetarian I could get some bread, fries, rice, beans and a salad. It was sufficient for my needs.

Location and airport transport: Flights from the nearby airport (NLU) to Tulum (TQO) were much cheaper than those from Mexico City, that’s why I thought it would be a good idea to fly from this airport and save some money. This hotel was very afforable, and seemed near the airport, and since I booked my flight early in the morning, I needed a place to stay. It was a bit further from the airport than I expected (seems closer on the map), it was about a 30 minute drive. Uber is blocked here. I used Didi instead, but be prepared for long waiting times and a higher fare. During daytime, I could take the Mexibus for $10 mxn from the airport to the 3rd stop: La Glorieta Militar. I had to ask someone if I could use their card, since the tickets were sold out (a bit strange, but worked out fine). From the bus stop to the hotel I took a taxi for $100 mxn. For my return, from the hotel to the airport (around 7 am) I tried requesting a ride through Didi. The hotel is also a bit in the middle of nowhere, so perhaps that’s a reason why the Didi drivers wouldn’t easily accept my offer. I ended up paying paid $211 mxn pesos, and arrived at the airport in time. Didi drivers are not that welcome at the airport. A few minutes before arriving at the airport, the driver told me to act like he was my cousin if any questions were asked. It’s not so much feedback for the hotel, since they offer airport transportation services for $300, but it is just a heads up for people staying in any hotel around the airport, so they know what to expect. All in all, it was still cheaper than flying from Mexico City. Not sure if I would do it again though, it was a bit complicated.

Staff helpful and friendly. Quiet area close to AIFA airport. The meals were good. Would recommend.

Really nice and friendly hosts (Ricardo is just great) spotless clean. Uncomplicated when we needed a Transport. Sweet dogs. It's also not to far from Teotihuacán and AIFA Airport.

Camilla, Ricardo and Mom were warm and inviting. Food was very good value and so convenient. Location was isolated but for our purpose, a 20 hour layover, it was close by the airport. Arranged taxi to/from airport was handy. Would stay there again.

Did not feel like I would want to walk around the neighborhood.
