Sajang Retreat and Organic Farming

On the way to the Sajang Retreat, I noticed that the surroundings were beautiful, and since the last stretch is on unpaved roads, you really get the feeling that you’re in the jungle. After a 2-hour drive from Kuta, I arrived at the Sajang Retreat in Rinjani. I was warmly welcomed there and could sense from the staff and the surroundings that there was a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. The location offers a stunning view of the mountains, the sunset, and the sea. The room was clean and had everything you need for a retreat. It’s not very luxurious, but you’re in the mountains in the jungle, and that was exactly what I expected. After exploring the organic garden, where they grow their own coffee beans, cacao, vanilla, and avocado, we enjoyed a delicious meal and went out on an ATV to explore the area, where we came across more places where cacao and coffee beans are cultivated. When we returned, we sang karaoke under the starry sky and laughed until the evening became a memory. The next day, I had a delicious fried rice breakfast and set out with a local guide who picked me up and dropped me off. I saw such amazing nature there. Upon returning, I said goodbye to the friendly staff and headed off to my next destination. Sajang Retreat is truly an amazing place to become one with nature and find peace
