HRWe came for one night, but stayed for two. The location is very good, in a quiet street just behind the Registan square. When the weather is nice you can sit on the roof terrace and enjoy the view. Many other historical sites are in the walking distance, but the taxi is also cheap.

DEGreat location, just a few steps from Registan! Hotel and staff was in general good.The roof terrace has a stunning view! I was a bit worried, since i saw some very bad reviews, but at least the room were i stayed everything was fine. I can recommend this hotel.
The fact that you can't pay with credit card is a big issue. I stayed 4 night, so it was quite a lot of money that i had to get from the ATM (with a comission of course!). Additionally, as others mentioned, cleaning was not the strongest point of the hotel, i can confirm it.
PLLocation is really good
It was really loud in the room, we heard every noise from the corridor and even from the rooms above. Additionally, everyday when the breakfast started, we felt strong fat small in our room and the smell lingered for the half of the day. Food at the breakfast was mostly fired and too fat, what was also explaining the smell.
