Riad Espace Asrir

A relaxing and fascinating riad, full of interesting local art and artefacts, complete with roof top terrace and chess board. Delightful and accommodating hosts - and owner - got a full tour of the town's historic walls

Great stay at the Raid Asrir. The place is absolutely stunning with so much care put into the renovations and decor; quite an amazing and interesting mix. My single room was simple but nice, with shared bathroom facilities. Overall it was a good stay, with amazingly friendly hosts.

The mattress was too firm for my liking.

The staff is amazing. They make you feel that you are part of their family. Riad is nice looking. Breakfast is very good, especially the coffee, eggs and msemen with amlou. Good wifi. Location quiet and close to Source bleue . I totally recommend.

The bed mattress was a little firm , but for the price and the quality of the services and of the staff, I can’t complain.

The decor is amazing. Like a museum. Stepping back in time. It was quiet, in a neighborhood just 15 minute walk to CTM bus station. They recommended a great restaurant Under the Shade of the Fig Tree (in French, of course). Breakfast at the road was nice.

WiFi was exceptionally slow.

This was property is amazing with such a great atmosphere and decor. A lot of effort has gone into creating this space. Good value too.

Some extra attention to cleaning the shared facilities would benefit.

Having explored Morocco for eight weeks and stayed in numerous Riads our latest experience was underwhelming. Although initially impressed by the abundant sitting areas and friendly staff who prepared a tasty chicken Tagine, our enthusiasm waned. Our initial room, while spacious with an ensuite, was substandard. The bed looked dated and uncomfortable, bedding was stained, and the bathroom lacked cleanliness and essential amenities. After relocating us to another room the next day, cleanliness issues remained. The primary reason I chose this Riads was its impressive 9.6 rating, though I typically refrain from negative reviews, I must express my disagreement with this assessment and find this rating misleading. This Riad has potential but requires improved management to rectify its shortcomings.

Uncomfortable beds and the cleaning or the lack of cleanliness

I loved the Riad there is something to look at all over the place. I loved the staff - and the cat!! I also liked the town and it's people.

The shower on both days was cold, empty gas bottle maybe?
