Lombard Hide Away

The location was extremely convenient being right in the heart of the city centre, very close to the train station. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Ben was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.

It was pretty loud at night, being in the centre of a busy city at a weekend there was understandably a fair bit of noise from people out on the town until past 2am (plus the seagulls caused a racket). The accommodation didn't make it easy to clean up after ourselves (no hot water in the kitchen, limited dish soap and no sponge or cloth) so everything in the kitchen was dirty and needed to be cleaned before use. There was also a vase of old rotting flowers left on the table.

Owner was attentive to details. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated so really makes one feel home away from home.

Nothing to dislike

Spacious, comfortable and clean apart from the bathroom floor had hair and bathtub drain had so much hair and was draining slowly so I had to clean out all the hair stuck inside with tissue.

Perfect location - walkable to pretty much all key places. Clean kitchen and bathroom.

Quite noisy specially late night partying in the street. Even though this apartment is in 3rd floor you can hear the noise.

The apartment itself had everything we needed and was very clean. Very warm in Winter. Host was extremely responsive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Thank you for having us

The beds could do with some better linen- felt a bit thin. Also, there were often some sketchy people in the arcade/ laneway where the front entrance is
