Apartment In Birmingham New Street

It was very clean and centrally located.

Although the property is central to the train station we had to walk 15 mins over to Snow Hill to collect the key from a lock box. The comments on booking say a ‘short walk’ this is not a short walk and is not central and should be made clear. When paying the deposit (to get the key directions etc) this was advised to be by bank transfer and not via credit card. Extremely unsafe financially. Provided an alternative by PayPal eventually. Correspondence tone is extremely rude. We will not be staying again.

Excellent location Location in the middle of the town, next door to Trocadero bar. Can walk pretty much everywhere. It is very quiet in the apartment, which was spacious and v clean. Only think that I thought would be available and wasn’t was towels for a shower. Only had a has towel. But I made do and the shower was great.

Small negatives, as no towels for a shower. There are a few stairs to get to the apartment which were fine, but not good if you should have mobility issues.

Didn't find any information to say it was up 3 flights of stairs! The host (sharon) seemed to be blunt and demanding when messaging me to confirm a time for me to book in, even though I had said I was in a meeting all day and did not know when I was available. 1st I was told to let her know 1 1/2 hrs before, then when I said I was free, I was told to 'meet straight away, right now' and then as I was walking to the property another message was 'where are you, someone is outside waiting'!!! The worst part was the extremely strong smell of food throughout the apartment, even though it's on the top floor. It was unpleasant to the point I wouldn't of enjoyed eating breakfast and also made my clothes smell!

The apartment is exceptionally clean and good value for money .it is in a very good convenient location . (City centre)

The bed is double, but a strong king-size bed in one of the rooms will be excellent

The location and space was great. Really liked the balcony

Had to pay extra £60 for beds to be put up, which only 2 beds were put up by the host and they were very uncomfortable camp beds. We felt like we couldn’t relax because everything had to be left spotless else would have been charged. Was only given 1 key between 7 of us. There were ants in the living room and kitchen.
