Basilica View II Vintage Apartment

このアパートは何処に行くのもとても便利な場所にあった。 オーナーはとても親切でフレンドリーで、私が興味があるたくさんの情報を知らせてくれた。 アパートの部屋からは教会と広場が見渡せてとても素晴らしい快適な滞在だった。 もしまたブダペストへ行く機会があれば、もう一度滞在したいと思う。

Amazing location with exceptional views. The host and her daughter were very welcoming and gave us so much information of what to do and great places to eat.

The location was excellent, Apt bldg was right on the St Stephen Basilica Sq, 5 min walk to chain bridge, 10 min walk to parliament bldg, 10 min walk to Vaci street, hop on hop off bus stop right on the corner Katalin, the owner, was outstanding, she was so helpful for all our needs, recommending restaurants, interpreting for us, one of the nicest people we’ve met in all our travels.

Loved everything about this unique property, and it had everything I needed to feel relaxed and at home for 8 wonderful nights. Location was close to great restaurants, grocery store, many major attractions, trams & metro, and just a few minutes walk to the Szechenyi Chain Bridge. Bed & pillows were comfortable. The room was huge and the high ceilings made it feel even larger. Great shower. Plenty of space in the armoire for clothing. I don’t cook on vacation, but the little kitchen appeared to have everything one might need to prepare meals. Was nice having a washing machine in the unit. And the lift in the building was welcoming after long days exploring the amazing city. Most places I’ve stayed in Europe didn’t have lifts. The unit even had flip flops and towels you could borrow when visiting the thermal baths. Kata, the owner, promptly responded to my messages on WhatsApp. She met me at the door and provided instructions for certain things within the building and unit to make my stay as comfortable as possible, and provided suggestions for things to do and places to eat. I greatly appreciated her kindness, and really enjoyed our several conversations. As a solo female traveller, I felt 100% safe in this unit. Having a host as friendly as Kata, also provided a level of comfort.

The only negative was having to leave. I got used to starting each day sitting near the window with a tea and applying makeup, while enjoying the stunning view of St. Stephen’s Basilica. I ended each evening with a tea and the same view before sleep. Beautiful memories. Should I ever return to Budapest, this is the only place I would stay.

The apartment was in the best position possible, we had a view of the Basilica from our window. Despite the central location, the room was quiet, and there was lift access. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and beautiful. The owner is very thoughtful and has extra towels and flip flops for people who may wish to use the spas locally and also has everything you may need, iron, washing machine, hairdryer etc. We were also able to check in early and out late as new visitors were not expected. My wife and I loved our experience here, and we will definitely return and stay in this apartment again.

Nothing, we loved everything about this apartment. It exceeded all expectations, and the owner was very kind, generous, and had excellent communication with us.

Excellent location with great view of basilica

Apartment was in aged building and gave an experience of its faded glory which was fine for us but may not suit all.Some facilities were a bit tricky to use but owner very generous with her time to send sdvice

Fab location, perfect apartment with a lovely atmosphere and homely touches. Well equipped and very comfortable. Superb advice regarding things to do from the owner.

Beautiful apartment in a very cool building. Great location- close to restaurants, sights, and river. Easy walking to most and subway and trams also close.

There was absolutely nothing that we disliked.
