Ranmini Home Stay

Clean room and a super friendly host. They make a tasty breakfast and are super helpful with everything. We rented two bikes for 1000 LKR each and it was perfect to see the whole city in a day, even at a relaxed tempo.

I like the hospitality of the family. Very nice host. I have no words to express their care to the guests.

The location is not far from the centre but we have to depend on the taxi modes.

The owners were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The area was peaceful. Beds were cozy. The owner gave my mother and I a discount for not having air conditioning.

It didn't really match the description. My mother and I looked for a place with a private bathroom, in town, and with air conditioning. This spot said it was in downtown but it was actually a half hour walk. Also we paid more because we really wanted air conditioning but there was only one AC available despite it listing AC for every available room. The owner discounted us but we would have rather paid the extra price to stay somewhere different with air conditioning. Also the bathroom was not really private. It was shared between all the guests staying there. Some of this might have been a simple language issue causing misunderstandings by the owners when answering the questions. It didn't feel intentional but we did feel like we paid for something when we were looking for something different. Also the price was pretty high for the lack of amenities.

I felt myself like at home. Hosts were really very nice, food is 5 michlen stars. Beach is really 600 hindred meterd from the hostel. Very recommended. Flawless.

Its a good place and worth the money you pay for. The owner is very friendly, helpful and attending to the guest needs quickly.

Owner kept turning off the WiFi! Rooms were stuffy and fans not powerful enough to deal with 29-37 temperatures. Owner added a 10% service charge claiming it was ",local practice". Reported to booking.com

The place was fantastic, really calm area surrounded by beautiful plants. Really clean and the staff was great. Highly recommended
