Funk monk Villa hostel PONDICHERRY

All the staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful. Good crowd mixed of Indians and internationals in the hostel. Location close to Auroville Visitor's Centre, where you can get information and start activities. Good dinner for reasonable price. Balconies and roof top.

Cleanliness of dorm bathroom could be better, but hey, let's be realistic :) it's a dorm bed for 400 after all

I loved my stay at Funk Monk Hostel! I felt so comfortable day in, day out. Everything is so neat & clean like I haven’t experienced it before in whole India. The location is situated in a very calm environment just 5 min away from the visitor center by bicycle which made us sleep so well. Apart from that, the owner Krishna is a very helpful guy and has many tips to offer about what to do in Auroville. The food in the hostel is tasty and cheap. Would definitely come back, if was here another time! :)

There was nothing I didn't like.

The stay is neat and clean. The dorms are very cozy and feels like home. Prices are very reasonable and amma serves delicious and homely food. Staffs are very friendly and co operative. I would surely recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful and budget friendly stay in auroville.

Amazing view from terrace and cutest common area .....its the best hostel I have ever seen in my travelling journey...management is awesome friendly....host are too cooperative.....amma cooks homely food
