NLGreat hotel with a fantastic restaurant. Secure parking with ample space. Nice location by the river and with a nice mountain view.
Some might think it could use a renovation, but it just adds to the hotel character.

No air conditioning
DEWe had a room facing to the street. It was a little noisy.
CHWe stopped for 1 night on our route back home to spend the night and the expectations were more than met. The size of the room is great, mattress is comfortable, extra pillows and blankets, everything was very clean, there was a balcony (overlooking the road and the forest)
Not many hot options for breakfast
GBReally secure cycle parking. I have never seen a door handle that has numbers that light up when you pass your hand over it. Most of the other guests are there to fish which gives the place a unique feel. Be warned fishermen get up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast. The staff were kept busy replenishing things. The breakfast is excellent. everything is there when you look. including boil your own eggs. Our room had a bath which was great.
Being tea drinkers we missed having a kettle. however the room did come with wine glasses which were useful.

USThe hotel is in a good location it has bike storage. It is out of town but has an excellent restaurant so no need to drive anywhere
The mattress could be better but still comfortable
ITI knew "on-paper" the location would have been good, but it was outstanding, honestly. It was all the perfect stay for a stress-free weekend.
