Oliver's Farmstay

This property and the hosts were fantastic. My wife and I would strongly recommend staying at this property. It was beautiful, quiet, and in an incredible location. The breakfast was home cooked by the host and was delicious. Definitely stay here.

Fantastic friendly hosts, Amazing home cooked full English breakfast

The house is kept immaculately, beds are comfortable, breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Pam and Ollie are charming hosts with lots of good stories about the area. And the garden is pretty with sheep across the drive in their paddock. Perfect low key, cosy place to stay.

The hosts were delightful. The accommodation was so lovely and comfortable. The breakfasts were second to none.

It was all lovely. However, the access from the main road is made challenging by the layout of the road and markings. NZ highways could do better!

This is an exceptional Homestay for travellers Ollie and Pat really put themselves into making guests feel at home. Within minutes you are chatting at the kitchen table like old friends. We loved thier wonderful attitude to guests. The breakfast was exceptional, the bed cosy and bathroom well designed. An array of ‘forever home’ farm animals are also part of the family. A great spot before you launch yourself into the west coast mountains or a relaxing stop on your return

Breakfast was generous - Olly cooked it to order so was straight out of the pan and fresh. Loved the home made jams - quite a selection to choose from. The quince jelly was delicious.

Ollie and Pam were incredibly welcoming and genuinely went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Pam first welcomed us with a cup of tea and some of her homemade cornflake biscuits. They also took the time to contact their neighbors, allowing us the unique experience of feeding their horse, pony and playing with friendly dogs nearby — a real treat! They also took the time to share more about their lovely farm and life experience with us and let interact with their adorable sheeps and chickens. The space itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a relaxing countryside getaway with truly caring hosts, I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for an unforgettable stay! Sad that we only had time to stay for a night.

Great hosts who know lots about the area. Cam is a trained chef and breakfasts are amazing and filling. Rooms are comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. Showers are powerful and hot. Had a great time and loved the biscuits with tea and coffee in the afternoon.
