Could not bath at the beach on site

Loved being able to walk to a beautiful beach. Condo was well appointed and comfortable. Owner was in constant contact with recommendations of restaurants and activities.

We booked this property on Booking.com. The site stated that no prepayment was necessary and there was a no cancelation policy. Weeks after making the reservation, I found a message on the Booking.com site from the host stating that because we hadn't paid in full through PayPal, our reservation was canceled. When I responded that we had no idea t that our reservation was at risk of cancelation because we hadn't been contacted by Booking.com, the owner called me directly stating that he could still accommodate our reservation but I needed to pay him directly with a credit card. I think he uses all the booking services but doesn't abide by their rules. The only other major complaint we had was the shower didn't have any hot water. There was an initial blast of scalding water and then only cold water.

I did my oun breasfast every day.

Host kept in touch with us online during our stay making recommendations and just checking in.

Hot water in shower was poor - but they said they'd rectify.
