"Trojan: deposit"

The apartman is ok.

We had a little trojan feeling: you are forced to use a no name app (zymzo) to check in. It asks for 80 euro deposit (!), and other additional fees. You have to fill all guests' every details (name, birth date, card id, etc). The description of the apartman is misleading: "you can check in with our app", we thought that app is booking's own app. But not. It is zymzo app, it has only 1k downloads, it has no reviews, and no option to delete user data. Each of them is a red flag not to install it. When i asked for an alternative way to check in, the host sent the web app of zymzo. :) The same process, but on the web. :( The welcome text of the host describes "zymzo app is a world leading solution for online check in". We never heard about it, but we use heavily booking/airbnb for a very long time. About the deposit: "zymzo is here to protect both, Guest and the property owners (Hosts)." What? Does it protect me? (https://zymzo.com/terms-of-service) Honestly, i think this is simply against the policy of booking.com. These payments are outside of booking, and exactly booking is the platform which protects guests and hosts, not 3rd party outside apps. (“the merchant” started the refund of deposit for 1 week later, even after successful check out)

Walking distance to the middle of the city. Close to highway. Lot of space. Nice clean appartment. We enjoyed the stay.

I did not notice but you need to download second app where you put your card details and deposite and city tax is paid there. Then you get the entrance code. It took some time in front of the building with family jumping on my head after the hours of driving. However the money are back now so it is safe and you do not need anyone to enter the appartment.

Great location, it was clean and comfort. Host was very helpful with the support needed with opening the apartment.

Apartment should have a bit modern design, furniture, bathroom....
